Early voting has ended in Maine. You can still vote absentee if you believe you will be unable to vote on Election Day. Contact your town office for more details. You can click here to look up your town information.

Need to register to vote?

You can register to vote in Maine if you are:

  1. A United States citizen;
  2. living in a town or city in Maine; and
  3. at least 17 years old and will be 18 years old by Election Day.

It’s never too late to register to vote in Maine. You can register to vote until, and including, Election Day. There is no cut-off date for registering to vote in person at your town office or city hall. On Election Day, you can register right at your polling place.
